Botha Murders

On Saturday the 24th of April 2021 an attack took place at the farm residence of Faan Botha, a manager at Valley Farms who returned home from his late afternoon patrols to find his home in disarray, and his wife and son lying in a pool of blood in the lounge.

Faan immediately went to his neighbours for help as the attackers had allegedly stolen the cellphones in the residence. Emergency service were dispatched and on arrival declared that both victims were deceased.

Some of the stolen items were recovered in the field between the house and the fence, which seems to have been cut by the attackers.

Faan Botha, a manager for Valley Farms, returns home after doing his late afternoon patrols. On entering the bedroom he discovers that the house seems in shambles. Instantly knowing that something is wrong, he starts calling out and looking for his wife Annemarie and son Ruan. He proceeds to the lounge and finds both his wife and son lying in a pool of blood.

Faan makes his way to his neighbours for help after noticing that all the cellphones in the house are missing.

Emergency services are dispatched, and on arrival declare that both victims are deceased. Some of the stolen items are found in the field between the house and the fence, which seems to have been cut by the attackers.
