Some time back we received a call from a distressed member of Monitor Roadside Assistance who had just been involved in an accident in Fourways, Gauteng. 

The driver of the other vehicle had left the accident scene and our member was overwhelmed and unsure what to do. I advised her to remain calm and arranged for an approved towing service provider to remove her vehicle from the accident scene. The vehicle was transported to an approved panel beater for assessment and then repairs.

I advised our member to report the accident to SAPS and to give details of the other vehicle for SAPS to investigate further. Fortunately, our member was not injured and she was collected by a friend who drove her home.
