Arrests of Tharina Human, Laetitia Nel, Pieter van Zyl

Two women and a man were arrested on Wednesday evening, with police saying one of the female suspects is known to Amy’Leigh’s parents.

The arrests were confirmed by SAPS spokesperson Brigadier Vish Naidoo, who said the suspects were aged between 27 and 50 years. They are currently in police custody and are expected to appear in the Vanderbijlpark Magistrate’s Court on Friday.  Brig Naidoo also mentioned that the likelihood of further arrests could not be ruled out.
