Wake up to house being robbed and vehicle missing

We received a AAA Response activation from a member in the early hours of the morning recently. She reported that she had woken up to find that her home had been robbed and her vehicle was missing. A witness indicated that the vehicle had been driven in the direction of the N3 in Pietermaritzburg, KZN.

The member provided all details of the vehicle. I immediately arranged for the vehicle to be loaded to the SNIPR ANPR (Automated Number Plate Recognition) system and reported the incident to the local SAPS station and security company.
