Hit on the head by a cricket ball

We received a call from a teacher at a local High School requesting an ambulance to assist one of their students who had been hit on the head by a cricket ball.
The patient was conscious but confused. I immediately requested assistance from @Netcare911. He was on scene within seven minutes and the patient was transported to a nearby Hospital for observation.
