Even when off duty, the duty of a dispatcher is the same, and that is: to help where help is needed.

I was on one of my days off when I heard an elderly woman speaking to her friend about how unsafe she felt when out and about.

On hearing this, I walked up to the women, introduced myself and explained what we do and how we could help. Both women were so impressed that they took down the TrackBox number and said they would download the app for their safety and spread the word to members of their wine and book club so that their friends could also call for help when needed.

Anything! Anywhere! Anytime!
