At 2.20 p.m. we received information regarding a home robbery in progress in Pinetown.

A gang of four males had forced their way into a residence in the quiet suburb of Manors, severely assaulting the female homeowner and getting away with a TV, laptop, PC & cellphone. The vehicle used by the robbers was a silver Kia Cerato, and the direction of escape was unknown.

@SAPS, security officers and neighbourhood watch patrollers were dispatched and on scene within minutes and descriptions of both the suspects and the vehicle used to commit the crime were circulated. A trauma counsellor attended to the victim while police members cordoned off the scene for further investigation.
