Attempted Transformer Theft

Received a call from member reporting an attempted transformer theft in the Grootvley area. The member had fired warning shots which scared the suspects away and they had fled the scene empty handed.

We called SAPS Perdekop to inform them about the situation and they were willing to assist with patrolling the area during the night. This is becoming a norm and we urge all our members to report it immediately should they suspect anything in relation to this. 

We are here 24/7 and working together can reduce crimes like these taking place in our areas.
