Difficulty Breathing

I received a call from a school requesting ambulance assistance for a 12 year-old female student who was having difficulty breathing. I immediately sent a request for assistance to Netcare 911 and obtained what patient information and history I could from the caller. 

The child’s parents had already been informed and were making their way to the school. The ambulance arrived fifteen minutes after the first call and after assessment, transported the child to a local hospital for further treatment.

In emergency situations it is vitally important to have the TrackBox AAA Response App installed to initiate a speed-dial.
