With the massive increase of unemployed and desperate people, we are sure to see a spike in the crime statistics.

We have already noted a spike in hijackings, and the following tips should be adhered to:

• Be vigilant when entering your driveway and garage 
• Be vigilant when stopping at traffic light or intersections 
• Leave enough distance between your car and the one in front of you 
• Keep all your doors locked and don’t drive with windows open
• Keep cell phones and handbags out of sight and watch for any suspicious persons around, or approaching your vehicle. 
• If you have family members arriving home late by themselves, watch out for them and make sure they arrive safely. You can always call your security provider to assist you into your house safely.

Don’t Let your guard down. Don’t become a statistic. Be vigilant at all times.
