How can you reduce the risk of getting Covid-19?

- Give people space and avoid shaking hands, hugging or physical contact.
- When leaving your home wear a mask over your face ensuring you cover your mouth and nose properly.
- When you need to have people over at your home, such as for maintenance, wear a mask and keep your home ventilated by opening windows as far as possible
- Stay home when ill
- Wash hands or apply hand sanitiser regularly
- Clean “high-touch” surfaces regularly
- Avoid sharing food or cigarettes with others
- Avoid any unnecessary travel
Certain people are at a higher risk of serious illness should they contract Covid-19:
- People over the age of 60
- People that have heart disease
- Those suffering from diabetes
- Individuals with lung disease, including asthma
- Those taking immunosuppressive drugs
Individuals who are at a higher risk of getting COVID-19 are recommended to take extra precautions to stay safe.
