A wanted Porsche came up on one of the SNIPR™ cameras and I immediately did a reg. check with SAPS and the vehicle was confirmed to be “positive” as a stolen vehicle. I then called the relevant security company for the area and they said they would look for the vehicle.
At 15:30 information was received that the vehicle had been stopped and recovered with one suspect taken into custody by SAPS.
This is the type of result we expect every day at the SNIPR desk.
A job well done by officers in the field.
