Emergency call with a happy ending

What was supposedly going to be a typical quiet night shift, turned into an emergency call @ 3 am, that would save the life of an 83 year old woman who had collapsed due to low blood pressure.

Netcare had been called and dispatched and a description taken down to hand over to them. I had then called the member back to advise her that Netcare had been dispatched and that they would be with her shortly.

After a further 10 minutes, I had then called again and it was confirmed that Netcare had arrived and that they had stabilised the patient.
The patient had been transported to the local Private Hospital.
